We are pleased to announce the Cold Spring Harbor Asia conference on Liver Diseases and Tumorigenesis: from Bench to Bedside which will be held in Suzhou, China, located approximately 60 miles west of Shanghai. The conference will begin at 7:00pm on the evening of Monday April 25, and will conclude after lunch on Friday April 29, 2016.

The conference will include eight oral sessions and one poster session covering the latest findings across many topics in liver research. Many talks will be selected from the openly submitted abstracts on the basis of scientific merit and relevance. Social events throughout the conference provide ample opportunity for informal interactions.

The conference will cover the latest and most important advancement in our understanding of liver development, metabolism, disorders and cancer, from basic, translational and clinical studies. Attentions will be paid on viral hepatitis, alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases. In particular, liver cancer is now escalated to be the 2nd cause of cancer mortality, the talks will cover a broad range of topics, including genomics, epigenetics, signaling, immunotherapy and large-scale clinical data analysis. Many talks will be selected from submitted abstracts on the basis of scientific merit and relevance. Young scientists, physicians and pathologists are particularly encouraged to attend the conference and join the social events throughout the meeting for informal scientific interactions.

Selection of material for oral and poster presentation will be made by the organizers. We are eager to have as many young people as possible attend since they are likely to benefit most from this meeting.
