In addition to the express bus, 10 min ride of Japan Railway (JR) train from Nishi-Akashi to Miako is
necessary. These two hotel are located in front of the Nishi-Akashi ⻄明⽯JR station.
There are shinkansen station and local station. Use local station and take a train toward Kobe/Osaka. Do
NOT use super rapid service, which does not stop at Maiko. Use local or rapid service, which runs every 10 min or less. It takes less than10 min to Maiko JR station (second station); 180 Japanese yen one way). Then take the express bus at Kohsoku-Maiko bus stop on the bridige as above.

Japanese transportation is quite punctual even for buses.

JR train runs till midnight.
Important Note
The last bus from the international conference center is 2236.
Taxi from the International Conference Center to JR Maiko is ~10,000 Japanese yen (~80 US$). If 4
persons ride in a car, ~2,500 Japanese yen per person. This includes expressway charge and depends on the situation that taxis cannot stop at the bus stop on the bridge so that they have to take a much longer way.
