Visa Application for entering Japan

Currently, foreign nationals who wish to enter Japan to attend conference require a newly issued "short-term business visa". It is a single entry permit which is valid up to 90 days and is issued by Embassies or Consulates or Consular Office of Japan in your respective countries or regions. We are pleased to announce that Japanese BioIron Society (JBIS) has agreed to be our sponsoring organization for this meeting to obtain a certificate for completion of registration for "Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS)". Therefore, we will be able to send you an electronic copy of the certificate for completion of registration for your short-term business visa application for entering Japan.


We will be able to provide you with documents below for your visa application: 

1. A certificate for completion of registration for "Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS)

2. An invitation letter for the CSH Asia meeting at Awaji, Japan

3. Other neccessary documents requested by Embassy or Consular office to support your visa applications


please write to Elaine Xu  ([email protected]) with the following information: the meeting title, applicant’s full name, gender, date of  birth, nationality and passport number. Passport expiry date, tentative arrival and departure date.

Please leave enough time (at least 1-2 months) for the entire application procedure due to current pandemic situation.
